ELIGIBILITY

This scholarship is open to senior high school students applying for college who are legal dependents of active Anaheim police sworn personnel. Dependents of reserve or retired Anaheim police personnel are not eligible for this scholarship.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS (Failure to complete any of the following will result in disqualification):

• The scholarship is intended for use in scholastic and vocational fields only.

• A minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).

• A copy of your most recent transcripts (official or unofficial).

• Applicants must submit an essay (up to 500 words) on the following topic: Given the essential role law enforcement plays in public safety and community service, how has your parent’s career in this field shaped your values and influenced your future goals?

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNTS

$2,500 for Vocational School | $5,000 for a four-year University

The scholarship amounts are based on the fundraising results from the previous year. Scholarships are limited, and applications will be evaluated based on the submitted criteria.
